Jesus' Story

Chronological Bibles can be a valuable tool in aiding readers to better understand the historical sequencing of the books of the Bible. But most, if not all, limit their specificity to an entire book in relation to other books.

Jesus’ Story – A Simplified Retelling of the Gospels takes a different approach. This book focuses on the four Gospels, at the verse level, to unveil the story of Jesus’ life in an easy-to-read narrative that is chronological in its presentation. Rather than present multiple instances of the same historic event, this text only presents a single event with the details of the event coming from multiple available scriptural sources. Key elements from each Gospel are used to create a unified single storyline where a common story, parable, or set of passages appear in multiple Gospels.

In so doing, each event becomes a stand-alone experience occurring within the Bible record. This permits a more traditional approach in reading Bible history as it unfolds.

Containing over 500 references and numerous appendices that provide additional historical, educational, and theological context, this collection provides a well-rounded approach to learning about and understanding the life of Jesus.
